11:56, 18/11/2005

Addressing students of universities in Mahilyou on November 17, Alyaksandr Lukashenka stated that more than 90% of rural people are ready to support him, 84% of dwellers of regional centres and 67% of Minsk dwellers. This information is received in a “secret opinion poll”, according to him.

“I would offer my service to people, and say that I would be capable of doing this and not capable of doing that in case you elect me,” Lukashenka noted. Lukashenka stated that in case of winning the vote, he would continue pursuing the current policy. “I would hardly add much, as I am working at my utmost, but I would not make a turn from this path”.

A.Lukashenka confessed that “presidency is the most difficult labour of all, if you are working honestly”.
