Tatsyana Khoma to Continue Studying Her Major

Tatsyana Khoma, a student expelled from the Belarusian State Economic University, continues her struggle for the right to study in her university. She had been warned in the deanery that the only variant of reinstatement is paid education. Tatsyana does not have enough money, that is why most likely she is to study by correspondence, the Nasha Niva wrote.

Meanwhile the reaction of the university administration to the protests actions Tatsyana’s expelling by personal conversations with the students who collect signatures in her support.

Lecturers start their lections with explanation of the rector’s actions: “The BSEU is a state university, and must support the policy of the state. In this connection the rector had to expel Tatsyana Khoma”. “And the state means “He”, some people show a sign of moustaches.

A coordinator of the site “Studenty.by” told that Tatsyana friends were to provide explanations to the KGB officer, who asked about the activities of the student, and her position.
