President of Poland and USA Discussed Situation in Belarus 12:22, 10/02/2006
One of the topics of negotiations of the US president George Bush and his Polish counterpart Lech Kaczynski on February 9 was the situation in Belarus. “We have discussed problems concerning the NATO, the European Union, Belarus, Ukraine, Russia, Iraq and Afghanistan. In other words, to put it shortly, we have discussed all problems which interested the both countries,” told Lech Kaczynski during a common interview to the press, the official internet-source of the White House informs.
“We have discussed the problems concerning freedom in Ukraine and Belarus. And support of all actions contributing to freedom in Ukraine and Belarus, is at the same time very important for Poland,” Lech Kaczynski said.
On January 25 in Warsaw Polish president had a meeting with a Belarusian democratic candidate for presidency Alyaksandr Milinkevich.
