Yabloko outraged by members` expulsion from Belarus 10:15, 19/03/2006
Yabloko deputy leader Sergei Mitrokhin is outraged by what he called "hostile decision" to expel three activists of Yabloko`s youth wing from Belarus.
"The expulsion arouses a lot of questions. Why have Russian citizens, who have the right to enter Belarus freely by agreement with that country, and who have not committed any offences, been expelled from Belarus?" Mitrokhi said on Ekho Moskvty radio on Saturday evening.
"We welcome their release from custody, but we have queries about the decision to deport them. We`ll approach the Belarussian embassy and the Russian Foreign Ministry with these questions," he said.
Mitrokhin also said that the three Yabloko members, expelled from Belarus, are expected to return to Moscow early on Sunday.
