Rally On October Square In Support of Political Prisoners 18:27, 29/05/2006
On May 26 a rally in support of political prisoners was held on October Square in Minsk. Young Front activists have taken part in the rally.
At 8 p.m., despite of an outbreak of rain, several dozens of people gathered on the square. They held portraits of the Young Front leaders Zmitser Dashkevich and Artur Finkevich, sentenced to 15 days of arrest. The aim of the protest was to attract attention to the criminal case against Young Front activists and to the cynical arrest of the Young Front leaders.
