Jeans Generation For Freedom!
16:14, 06/09/2006

Only this way would lead to free and democratic elections,” told the leader of the democratic forces of Belarus Alyaksandr Milinkevich at a press conference dedicated to “Big Jeans Festival” in Minsk on September 16. “Big Jeans Festival” “For Freedom!” is to take place in Minsk on September 16 in memory of the leaders of Belarusian opposition Viktar Hanchar and Anatol Krasouski abducted 7 years ago on that day, and as a sign of solidarity with political prisoners. The event is to start at 2.30 p.m. near the cinema “Kastrychnik”, and is to be continued by a march to Bangalore Square. At 4 p.m. a meeting and a concert are to start on Bangalore Square.
