The president of Belarus will soon pay an official visit to Iran, the Belarusian foreign minister said Monday. "I hope Alexander Lukashenko`s visit to Tehran will take place in the coming weeks," said Sergei Martynov, who is on a working visit to Iran October 22-23.

Administration of the penal colony "Vitsba-3" has confirmed information that two prisoners of the colony are on hunger strike. The former deputy earlier told that he is ready to announce a hunger strike because he hadn`t been granted early conditional release. Former candidate for presidency Alyaksandr Kazulin continues hunger strike. The BelaPAN has been informed about that by the director of the colony "Vitsba-3" where the politician serves the sentence Vitaly Agnistikau. As said by him, A. Kazulin hadn`t been placed to a separate cell, he is kept with other prisoners. "Three times a day, as required by rules, he is given food. It is up to him what to do with it," the director of the colony said. According to his information, Kazulin feels well and continues to work half-days as an auxiliary worker.
