Fascists Want to See Putin and Lukashenka Among Them 16:16, 27/10/2006
Organizers of the so-called “Russian March” which is to take place on the Day of National unity on November 4, have not been allowed to hold an event, Radio Svoboda informs.
They are insisting on holding the march from Chistye prudy to Slavyanskaya square like last year.
The permission for holding the actions has not been received yet, however, as told by the leader of Movement Against Illegal Immigration (DPNI) Aleksandr Belov, if not a march, at least a meeting would be held on November 4 in any case.
Hundreds of internet-sites are calling upon participation in the “Russian march”. At the official web-site one can even vote for a person whose presence among the protesters is desirable. The list includes a politician Vladimir Zhirinovsky, an actor Oleg Menshikov, a trainer of the Russian football team Hus Hiddink, the leader of a band “Lube” Nikolay Rastorguev and even Ukrainian prime-minister Viktor Yanukovich. The leader of DPNI Aleksandr Belov, Russian president Vladimir Putin, his counterpart from Belarus Alyaksandr Lukashenka, and a constructor of a famous machine gun, Mikhail Kalashnikov, are leading the vote.
The reaction to the proposal of the persons on the list at DPNI site is unknown.
