Colony Administration Asserts Kazulin is “Vigorous” 12:54, 27/10/2006
“Alyaksandr Kazulin is vigorous. I have been told so by the administration of the colony today,” a wife of the former candidate for presidency Alyaksandr Kazulin, Iryna Kazulina, told to the BelaPAN on October 26.
As said by her, the hunger strike of the politician continues. Today one of his lawyers was to visit him. “However, because of an illness Ihar Rynkevich had fallen ill and was not able to visit the colony. Another lawyer, Zmitser Harachka, could not visit my husband because he couldn’t postpone his appointments,” I. Kazulina said.
As said by her, visiting Kazulin by a representative of the defence is rescheduled for Monday, October 30.
The former candidate for presidency started an indefinite hunger strike in colony Vitsba-3 on October 20. He protests against the lawlessness in the country and tries to attract attention of the UN Security Council to the situation in Belarus. The former deputy Syarhei Skrabets who supports Kazulin in his position, joined his hunger strike.
