Belarusian citizens have gathered near the Polish parliament holding white-red-white flags, portraits of Alyaksandr Kazulin and posters with the words Freedom to Political Prisoners!”, “Dictator Lukashenka must be imprisoned!”
The picketers left an address in the Sejm’s secretariat asking deputies “to turn attention to the hunger strike and to do all in power to influence Belarusian government for release of political prisoners”.
“It is noticeable that the EU follows the events in Belarus. We believe that such pickets, actions of international community are to influence the democratization process in Belarus,” one of the organizers Ihar Kryshton said to Radio Svaboda.
The protesters marched from the building of the parliament to Polish Foreign Ministry and left an analogous address there.
