The Czech government has called on Belarus`s authorities to release the opposition leader Alyaksandr Kazulin from prison and to provide him with immediate health care.
Russia`s Foreign Ministry on Wednesday criticized the United States for raising the plight of an opposition leader in Belarus in the United Nations Security Council, saying the move violated U.N procedures.

A supervising committee of Frunzenski district executive committee of Minsk has decided on a conditional early release of a campaign for elections observation “Partnerstva” Tsimafei Dranchuk. The date of release is to be announced on December 22, when the court of Frunzenski district of Minsk would study the case.

Kazulin demanded to consider the Belarusian problem in the UN Security Council. “We demand our parliaments and governments to call for release of Alyaksandr Kazulin immediately,” the newspapers write.
