Youth to be purposefully called to public prosecutor’s office
13:58, 25/05/2007

Activist of the unregistered organization ”Young Front” Nasta Azarka was called to the Minsk regional public prosecutor’s office for interrogation.

It is written in the subpoena that 28 May she is to be interrogated as a witness; Nasta Azarka figures in a new criminal case brought by the KGB against the regional activists of the Young Front for participation in the unregistered organization.

Pavel Sevyarinets does not exclude that several other activists of the organization may be called to the public prosecutor’s office for Monday. He thinks that this way the authorities are intimidating the youth and to decrease the number of people intending to come to the building of the Savetsky district court in Minsk where the Young Fronters ‘ trial is to begin.
