Activists detained near the court released 17:31, 28/05/2007
A member of the United Civil party Mikhail Pashkevich and an activist of the Belarusian Popular Front Youth Andrus Ihnatovich are released from the police department of Savetski district of Minsk after “identification”. They were detained in front of the court of Savetski district of Minsk, where the trial over the Young Front activists is held.
As we have informed, a rally in support of the Young Front activists started in the morning. People are standing with portraits of Aleh Korban, Nasta Palazhanka, Barys Haretski, Zmitser Khvedaruk and Alyaksei Yanusheuski, with streamers, and chanted slogans.
Mikhail Pashkevich and Andrus Ihnatovich were taken to a police department and held there for two and a half hours. Young people were released without filing reports of an administrative violation, the United Civil Party press-service informs.
