Judge Tsitsyankova and area militiaman Keniukh don’t wish to go to the European Union

The youth leader Alyaksei Shidlousky has been sentenced today to 5 nights in prison. The judgment was made by Judge Alena Tsitsyankova .The area militiaman senior lieutenant Igar Keniukh gave evidence in the court that the activist had been supposedly swearing at the department of internal affairs of the Partizansky district. The KGB staff members who had detained Shidlousky for distributing the informative matter didn’t appear before the judge.

7 August near the embassy of Belarus in Warsaw the picket in support of the former presidential candidate of Belarus Alyaksandr Kazulin was held. For already 500 days the political prisoner has been kept in jail. The picket participants are the political refugees from Belarus. During the action they were holding the national Belarusian flags and the flags of the Belarusian Social Democratic party (Gramada).

7 August was the 5 hundredth day of imprisonment of the former presidential candidate of the Republic of Belarus Alyaksandr Kazulin.

Charges preferred to Young Front Activists

The criminal charges were officially preferred to the Young Front activist Nasta Azarka .The criminal case was brought by the Committee of state Security (KGB) for participation in the unregistered organization.

Russia’s credit, if any, may be too late

The first deputy prime minister of Belarus declared that our country was to continue negotiations with Russia for receiving the USD 1.5 billion credit .Uladzimir Syamashka remarked that during the last meeting of both countries’ prime ministers the Russian side declared that the credit granting to Belarus had been postponed for October -December this year.

Sick and tired of living in darkness

7August in the central square of Smalyavichi town (Minsk region) opposite its district executive council the “Where is Light?”Action was taken. It is to be mentioned that the Smalyavichi’s local authorities decided to implement the directive #3 “On being thrifty and economical” to their liking and it has been the third month since the street lamps were switched off in the town.

Yesterday night the rest of the activists arrested during the Day of Independence celebration and kept in prison in Okrestina Street were at last released, among those being the youth leader Pavel Sevyarinets, activists Ales Chernishou and Alyaksei Shein.
