The court trials of 9 youth activists finished in Saligorsk. They were detained yesterday near the court building during the youth activist Ivan Shila’s trial and spent the night at the remand jail in Saligorsk. The reports of their violation of the Article 23.34 (violation of organization and holding of public actions) were made.

Saligorsk activist Viktar Dzyanisevich and Kasya Galitskaya from Minsk were sentenced to 5 base rates (Br 155 thousand) penalty for” participation in the unsanctioned picket”.

Iranian oil not to solve Belarusian problem

Belarus signed the agreement on oil mining in the southern part of Iran. It is presumed that in two years 40 thousand barrels of oil are to be mined annually under the two-phased project of USD 450 billion value. The information was commented on by Doctor of Economy Baris Zhaliba to the Charter’97 press service.

Girl arrested for 7 nights

Too tough punishment was handed down to the girl by Judge Burautsou from Saligorsk. Ludmila Atakulava was punished with administrative arrest for 7 nights in compliance with Article 23.34 of the Administrative Offenses Code (violation of procedure of organization and holding of public actions).

Former head of the Rusneft Mikhail Gutseriev who had been announced for international search was discovered in Turkey , the RIA Novosty informs referring to the Prosecutor General’s office representative. He also specified that the businessman was announced for international search only after the fact of his departure had been proved.

European Union ready for decreasing visa costs for Belarusians

Shengen visa cost for Belarus will be decreased after Belarus responds to the European Commission suggestions. That was reported to the Interfax at the representative office of the European Union in Belarus.
