Around 20 people have been detained in Baranovichi where the trial of the Young Front activist Yaralsau Grischenya is being held. People standing at the court building and shouting “Freedom!” and “Long Live Belarus!” were being detained by the special militia regiment (former OMON). Among the detainees are photo –correspondents of the Reuters and France Press Vasil Fedîsenka and Viktar Drachou.
Around 100 opposition activists were detained 8 September, the Day of Belarusian Military Glory in Orsha and Mahyliou.
