18:19, 11/09/2007

“Any authoritarian system implies the staff reshuffling. And those who announce their extra self- sufficiency self- independence must quit. Kanapliou used to manifest such self- sufficiency and confidence including financial. And probably he became suspected of ambitions. Probably he was not completely manageable. Moscow is curbing its support and part of the officials demands reforms”, chairman of the organizing committee of the Belarusian social democratic party (Narodnaya Gramada), coordinator of the European Coalition Mikalai Statkevich commenting upon the resignation of chairman of the “house of representatives” Uladzimir Kanapliou.
