Ukraine Joines CFBLNet Multinational Initiative

This will allow testing of combat systems marked "Secret".

Ukraine has joined as a guest partner to a multinational initiative - the Combined Federated Battle Laboratories Network, which is used by system developers for testing, joint exercises and verification of developments.

This was reported by the Ukrainian MoD, according to Censor.NET.

As noted, the sponsor of Ukraine's participation in the initiative was the NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA), with which the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine signed a technical agreement.

The MoD notes that Ukraine's participation in the "network of combat laboratories" will expand the country's ability to test combat systems for compatibility and readiness for use in multinational operations. This will allow, in particular, to conduct such tests in networks marked "Secret" after the appropriate accreditation.

In particular, NATO-Ukraine cooperation will allow sharing expertise, strengthening cooperation, conducting training and providing opportunities to improve interoperability.

It is reported that in addition to Ukraine, 39 partners (32 NATO member states, Austria, Australia, New Zealand, Switzerland, NATO itself, etc.) take part in the initiative.

“Our cooperation with NATO and other partner countries expands the borders. We strive for interoperability with partners, and our systems have long proven themselves during joint exercises. We are grateful for inviting Ukraine to another initiative. We are ready to continue working and deepen cooperation," said Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine Kateryna Chernohorenko.

It is worth noting that now the CFBLNet network has more than 400 representatives in 26 countries and NATO. It operates as part of a partnership between the Communications Electronics Board (CCEB), NATO and the United States of America. The core of the CFBLNet for European nations and NATO members is managed by the NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA).
