Ukraine Never Received Such Weapons: US Draws Up New List Of Military Assistance

The Commander-in-Chief of the US forces in the EU has drawn up his list of weapons that will help Ukraine in the war against Russia.

At that, this list includes only those items that Washington has not yet provided to Ukraine.

Back in early September, a secret report on the White House administration's strategy regarding military assistance to Ukraine was presented to Congress.

General Chris Cavoli proposed a new list of military aid, CNN reported.

The list was supplemented by the Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile and the Link 16 communications system.

Link is used by US and NATO countries to control missile defence and air defence systems.

Experts say: earlier the US did not provide Ukraine with this communication system because they were afraid that the secret technology could fall into the hands of the Russian Federation, and the missiles could be useless unless the AFU achieves a certain air superiority.

Ukraine keeps asking from the West to be allowed to hit military facilities on Russian territory with long-range weapons. The topic was supposed to be No. 1 at the upcoming summit in Germany, but Biden cancelled his trip due to a hurricane in the United States.

US officials say that they are providing Ukraine with all the weapons that the Ukrainian Armed Forces need at the moment, and they propose to hit Crimea, but not Russia, with ATACMS missiles.
