Democratic activists Zmiter Barodka and Leanid Navitski, Mikita Sasim and Sviatlana Harahavik were released, from the remand jail in Akrestin Street 16 October on Belarusian Solidarity Day. The oppositionists were sentenced to 15 days of arrest ahead of the European March. The oppositionists were met by dozens of youth activists, relatives, human rights activists, journalists and Charge d’Affaires of Slovakia Lubomir Rehak. It should be reminded that Embassy of Slovakia represents the European Union in Belarus.

BPF gifts to orphanage prohibited
Miadziel district chief ideologist prohibited the Belarusian People’s Front (BPF) party to make gifts to an orphanage. Since this spring the BPF party has been collecting things for orphans and sick children of cancer hospitals and departments. Miadziel refused from the aid - the refusal was initiated by authorities, not by the administration of the local orphanage. Vintsuk Viachorka comments on the situation:

One of the Belarusian opposition leaders, political prisoner Andrei Klimau was delivered from Minsk to a Mazyr high security colony. The transfer took three days, making the distance of 328 km - 7 hours for a train.
