Opposition gave helping hand to Lukashenka

“Having suggested a dialog, the opposition gave a helping hand to the authorities. If they don’t agree, it is their problems”, - Victar Ivashkevich, head of the European March organizing committee expressed his opinion 3 October.

“It’s they who will have deficit of trade with Russia of 7 billion dollars by the end of the year. It’s they who will have the external debt of 10 billion dollars. It’s they who are responsible for the forthcoming rise in prices, - the politician said. – The democratic forces of Belarus have made a gesture of good will, demonstrated the readiness to combine the efforts in the difficult for our country time and overcome the crisis. We think these approaches are really European. They are aiming not to one’s selfish interests but to the interests of our country”.

The politician also stressed that the letter, sent by the European March organizers to the deputy chairman of the president’s administration Natallia Piatkevich was addressed not to only Lukashenka and his environment, but to the whole Belarusian society, “Belorusskiy Partizan” running.

During the European March everybody must give an answer: is he a European or not. “Those who won’t come out because of fear or idleness, they are not European. Every man who will stay at home on this day, must realize, that he refuses the European choice. We hope the people who feel European, will take to the street”, - V. Ivashkevich thinks.
