Meat has risen in price by 1,000 rubles again

Meat has risen in price in Belarus again. Carbonade’s price went up last week, and now the price has risen 600 rubles more, some other meat gourmet items by 1,000 Br. Pork cannot be found at the price 14,000 Br. Fresh meat costs at least 15,000 rubles per kilogram.
Vegetable oil, milk and cheese prices have stopped growing, while costs for other products have started going up.
- Who ever heard of buns at 750 Br?, a young woman was indignant in Kamarouka market’s confectionary stalls in the morning, the KP un Belarus writes.
- But is it surprising? Can you make bakery dough just with water? You need yeast, milk, butter. And they are rising. Forget about rolls at 200 rubles!
That is why there was a queue near the stall “Hot bakes goods”. Old ladies and men are buying buns at 300-400 rubles, 5-10 buns each.
