Benefits “buried” in Minsk

A flash-mob related to repeal of benefits has been organized in Zyalyony Luh residential district by activists of the civil campaign “For Freedom!”. In a busy spot of the city, at a bus stop, activists built a “monument” to a reduced-fare ticket.

A huge “reduced-fare ticket” was attached to a metal post, and stones were piled nearby. Activists placed a leaflet near the “monument” informing that since December 17 Belarusians are deprived of a right for reduced fare transportation. Former beneficiaries of the social benefits were offered to pay tribute to “untimely death” of benefits.
