Parking violation could become too coslty

Minsk traffic policemen have reached an agreement with a mysterious commercial firm which is to be involved in cars evacuation from places of illegal parking at prices 15 times higher than prices of “police” evacuators. Drivers would have to reacquire their cars not from a car pound, but from this firm.

Considering the cost of evacuation illegal parking could cost almost 330,000 BYR, Nasha Niva writes.

Moreover, a driver would not be able to take his car from the car pound himself, and only when the firm would allow them to do so.
