Belarusian "deputies" do not like how they are written about in internet

The newly-appointed deputy chairman of the “council of republic” Anatol Rubinau (Rubinov) does not like repots published at some independent Belarusian websites.

Presenting his program, the vice speaker of the “council of republic” of the “national assembly” Rubinau emphasized that “we are faced with work in a hard period”. In particular, he noted “problems with Georgia, necessity to establish relations both with Europe and the US”.

He also attracted attention of the “senators” to the fact that presidential elections are to take place during the period of their work. “All our decisions should be perfected attentively,” he underlined.

Besides, Rubinau said that “senators should actively explain laws adopted by the parliament to the population”.

“We shouldn’t be lazy, but should explain the essence of the laws, relieve tensions,” the vice speaker said. He noted that if wouldn’t be done, “comments in a tone which is absolutely unnecessary for us, appear at some websites”.

“Nothing can justify adoption of laws which in any way infringe interests of citizens,” the deputy chairman of the “council of republic” added.
