Is Paulichenka to quit?

Reports have been received that a notorious colonel Dzmitry Paulichenka, who has been recently appointed to a new position, is to quit the army.

Earlier we informed with a reference to the website “Belaruskie novosti”, Dzmitry Paulichenka is in a hospital with a blood-stroke. However the “Belarusian partisan” website claims that the colonel does not have a stroke. And that nothing extraordinary has happened to him. He hadn’t been placed to intensive care. He was hospitalized out of his own will.

If the sources of the website of the Internal Ministry are true, a number of chronic diseases have been diagnosed. It is not excluded that after the comprehensive checkup Paulichenka will send in resignation.

In the end of October Dzmitry Paulichenka was appointed deputy operational training commander of the Corps for the Protection of Public Order of the Interior Ministry. Dzmitry Paulichenka’s duties include organizing of police units’ training and educational work with the personnel. However, according to the “Belarusian partisan”, Paulichenka hadn’t appeared to his working place yet.

As we have informed, Dzmitry Paulichenka is suspected of implication in forcible abductions and assassinations of the former Interior Affairs Ministry Yury Zakharanka and a journalist Zmitser Zavadsky. He is banned from entering the US and the EU countries.
