Silicon bracelets with swastika were sold In Smarhon in one of private kiosks.

It has been informed by listeners of Radio Svaboda through the community “Syabry Svabody” in Livejournal commnuity.

Vadzim Zharomski, an activist of the Young FRont was the first to notice bracelets with swastika. Together with his friend he noticed the kiosk and made photos. Vadzim says he was very surprised by what he saw.

“It’s an impression I cannot even compare to anything, like we have been spitted over. You know, when people forget about their relatives and family, it is the worst thing. The shop-assistant should have forgotten about her parents who had survived the war, about grandparents… words fail to convey my feelings. It’s awful,” Vadzim Zharomski says.

Uladzimir Shulzhytski who also saw that kiosk shares the impression of his friend.

“It is unpleasant that in our country such things could be sold. I do not understand why,” he said.

The owner of the kiosk Mikola Trukhan was very worried when he found out about the situation, and said that he couldn’t even imagine that. He bought the goods in Minsk, but he had never seen that.

“I am shocked myself. I am going to go and clear up the situation. You know, I receive goods in boxes, they are closed. I receive a waybill; I take the goods, that’s all. It was written on the box: bracelets, assorted,” the owner of the kiosk said.

According to Mikola Trukhan, he called his suppliers and found out that they receive bracelets from Moscow, and they were surprised to hear about the situation too.

The owner of the kiosk hasn’t said the name of the firm, but he said he is going to look at the goods attentively from now on.

“My God, my grandfather took part in the war. He died in Eastern Prussia. I know very well what swastika means. Young people may not know that, but I understand that perfectly,” Mikola Trukhan added.
