Planning of state budget out of selling a stake of joint stock venture “Mobile Digital Communications” (Velcom) and other state property in 2007, has failed.
It was said by Viktar Marakhin, deputy head of the standing commission on budget, finances and tax policy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus.
Answering the question of “Ezhednevnik,” V. Marakhin said “we received the sum much less than the planned one. The problem faces us is to work out a more serious approach to sources of budgeting.” According to him, cash inflow, less than it was expected, caused inspections of the State Control Committee.
No criminal cases were initiated on the results of inspections, but “the State Control Committee have analysed the facts and recommended to have a more serious attitude towards selling of state property.”
Meanwhile, as Viktar Marakhin noted, practice of budget recharge out of selling of property state assets will be continued. First of all, a rather great number of buildings and constructions are to be put up for auction.
Selling of state-owned plants and factories is on the agenda, too. Old-fashioned manufactures are supposed to be the first to be privatised. New owners will be obliged to keep on social infrastructure of enterprises.
