Iryna Kazulina died

As Ihar Rynkevich, former lawyer and family’s friend, said to the Charter’97 press center the relatives had already informed the Vitsebsk colony of Iryna Kazulin’s death. According to the law political prisoner Alyaksandr Kazulin should be conveyed to Minsk for funeral of his wife.

“She was a fragile and wonderful woman. Many people didn’t know about her terrible decease. She behaved so bravely, struggled for her husband! She inspired all us to the struggle. Every strong politician has a great woman. Iryna Kazulina was such a great woman,” Ihar Rynkevich said.

It should be reminded Alyaksandr Kazulin has been in prison for two years. The politician was sentenced to 5,5 years of imprisonment for protest actions against rigging the presidential election results in March,2006. The whole world demands Kazulin to be released. Alyaksandr Lukashenka has recently acknowledged he knows about Iryna Kazulina’s disease, but the political prisoner wasn’t released.
