Ministry of Statistics negates Sidorski

According to the Ministry of Statistics, the average salary in Belarus in April amounts to 836,980 rubles. This figure is far fewer than the one, announced by the prime minister ten days ago.
The head of the government said in his report to Alyaksandr Lukashenka, the average salary in Belarus was 435 dollars in early May. “Salidarnast” put this in doubt. According to the Ministry of Statistics the average salary in March 2008 was 807,846 rubles, or about 377 dollars. If what Sidorski says is true, the salary has increased by almost 60 dollars during April, with the assumption that the average salary increased only by 80 dollars in 2007...
The latest data of the Ministry of Statistics confirmed the validity of these doubts. The average salary in April in Belarus was 836,980 rubles, or 391 dollars. So, Syarhei Sidorski warmed up the average salary by 10 per cent.
It should be noted that the Ministry of Statistics gives official figures. The real average salary in Belarus is fewer.
