Apartments of oppositionists searched in Slonim in blast case

KGB officers press on members of initiative group of MP candidate from Slonim Ivan Sheha. They carried out unlawfully search of an apartment and questioning in the case of Minsk blast on 4 July.
Militiamen and officers of the State Security Committee (KGB) searched an apartment of civil activist from Slonim Vital Yeshan on the ground there was smell of acetone in the flat, so he might produce drugs. After that Ales Masyuk, Ivan Sheha and Vital Yeshan were questioned, Radio Racyja reports.
Civil activist Ales Masyuk thinks the actions of militia and KGB officers are provocative and links them with the beginning of the electoral campaign.
Doctor Ivan Sheha, member of the Belarusian Popular Front party, who enjoys respect and support among Slonim dwellers, is going to nominee for MP candidate. Scared with popularity of the democratic candidate, the authorities begin to press on members of his initiative group with the help of Hrodna KGB officers.
