Provocation after provocation...

Another provocation against Iryna Veshtard, possible MP candidate from the united list of democratic parties, was recorded by journalists.

After breaking windows, posting of her phone number to a sexwebsite she has faced a more serious provocation - a forged leaflet on behalf of Veshtard asking to give her 10,000 Belarusian rubles for her electoral campaign, “Tovarishch” newspaper reports.

Iryna Veshtard will run in the election in Smarhon constituency, where Tatsyana Holubeva, first secretary of the Communist Party, runs, too.

Leaflets on behalf of Ales Dzerhachou, asking to transfer 10,000 rubles for Iryna Veshtard’s electoral campaign, have been spread in Smarhon.

A. Dzerhachou is a member of initiative group for nominating Iryna Veshtard as a candidate. The human right activist found this leaflet in his mailbox. Phone number and address of A. Dzerhchou were placed under the text.

Iryna Veshtard has become a victim of a number of provocations over the last week: her door was painted black, doorlock was damaged, widows broken, phone number was posted to a sexwebsite. Leaflerts asking to transfer 5,000 rubles, and then 10,000 rubles have been spread in Smarhon.

Iryna Veshtard wrote about these outrageous facts to the prosecutor’s office and the district electoral commission. There are no results so far.
