The Belarusian authorities are loyal to all candidates, including opposition ones. Uladzimir Nistsyuk, one of the leaders of social democrats, said it at a round table in “Belaruskaya Dumka” magazine.
Official BelTA agency informs about it.
He said the atmosphere ahead of election in Belarus was good. In Nistsyuk’s view, elections were held under strict control of the authorities earlier, but not the situation has changed. “It would be suitable to remind a sitting held by Alyaksandr Lukashenka at the beginning of this election campaign. The president gave a clear task – secure open and transparent election,” Nistsyuk emphasised.
“Many European politicians now regret Europe made an untimely ultimatum titled “12 conditions”, that are impossiblte to fulfil,” Nistsyuk says.
