The leader of the Conservative Christian Party Belarusian Popular Front has made a statement urging to boycott the “parliamentary elections” on September 28.
“Citizens! Do not go to take part in the false elections! Do not allow to use yourselves for deceit either by Lukashenka’s supporters or by Moscow, or by the bureaucratic Europe, which seems to be ready to recognize the rigged elections, judging by their actions. Only boycott of the voting could stop both the philistine Europe and pro-Moscow regime. Nobody goes to the false “elections!” the politician urges.
Zyanon Paznyak confirms the timely character of the boycott under the new circumstances, when the Belarusian authorities started serious maneuvering between the West and Russia.
“The Russians and Lukashenka need a legitimate “chamber of representatives”. The former ones need that to finalize the process and results of the occupation of Belarus; the latter to decline all responsibility. That is why demagogy about the “democratic elections” is heard, and at the same time even minimal chances for free election is clamped down on cruelly. Europe, the old philistine Europe, which fears to overpay, which they want to deceive openly, and which is being fooled, is pretending to believe all this deceit, and puts on a mask that it’s pleasant for it. It is ready to acknowledge in advance the fake and undemocratic “elections” as democratic ones,” Z. Paznyak argues in an interview to the website Belmy.info.
“The dummy opposition will take part in the elections till the end, according to the scenario of the regime, as the West has ordered and has paid for that, and Moscow too,” the leader of the CCP BPF said.
As said by Paznyak, “Milinkevich has surpassed them all and has called the “opposition” “to build a dialogue of the EU with the European Union” and “shorten the 12 demands to the regime by the European Union to three”. He has underlined that “this policy should be taken place with the help of the opposition.” “The only thing is left, to embrace Lukashenka”.
In this way, Zyanon Paznyak said, “everybody wants to pay for the hypothetical “geopolitical choice” of Lukashenka (which would end right after the elections”) by recognition of the false elections as true ones.
