Pre-election search (Photo report)

Apartment of youth activist Mikhail Illin’s parents was searched yesterday in Brest by militiamen of the Maskouski district militia department.

The young man was detained at 2.30 am September 15, near an advertising pillar, where he pasted stickers “Boycott to Election”.

Brest human rights activist Uladzimir Vyalichkin said militiamen had beaten Mikhail Illin, but the court accused the guy in hooliganism and sentenced him to 5 days of arrest.

Yesterday at 7.40 pm, militiamen searched the apartment of Mikhail Illin’s parents. Militia officers looked for something on bookshelves, in books and newspapers, Radio Svaboda reports.
