Anatol Lyabedzka: “Authorities involved in disappearance of politicians. Hate to solidarity actions can’t be explained otherwise” (Photo)

Leader of the United Civil Party Anatol Lyabedzka, officially registered MP candidate, commented on the crackdown of a peaceful action on Solidarity Day to the Charter’97 pres center.

“Riot militiamen beat people at face, at chest during the action. It was brutal. I wasn’t beaten as cruelly as the others, I was just hit at back and arms. It wasn’t like the last time, when I had to go to hospital for medical care.

The today’s crackdown of the action and cruel beating proves that the authorities are involved in disappearance of opposition leaders. Hate to solidarity actions can’t be explained otherwise,” Lyabedzka said.

It should be reminded that the action timed to the anniversary of disappearance of opposition leaders Viktar Hanchar and Anatol Krasouski has been broken up today.
