Vitebsk: It is impossible to receive information about the number of voters and ballot papers

On the first day of early voting permanent chair of precinct election commission # 52 of Vitebsk-Chkalauskaya district # 18 Nina Shubina began to violate the election legislation from the very first second. She sealed the ballot box on her own, failing to open and demonstrate it to commission members before the sealing.

Nina Shubina also refused to provide media representatives with information about the number of voters on the voters’ lists and the amount of the received ballot papers. Shubina failed to give information about the number of voters who had voted during the first day of early voting.

An observer could not get similar information from chair of precinct election commission # 35 of the same district Dzmitry Nestserau. Nestserau has served as chair of a precinct election commission since the parliamentary election in 2004.
