Figures of turnout in Minsk overstated twofold

On the main voting day polling stations cannot be called crowded. The number of citizens who have come to cast their vote today, can be counted by dozens. But according to reports of election commissions, there are hundreds of them.

As said by observers, when they manage to count about 20-30 voters over a certain period of time, members of the commission speak about 300-500 voters over the same period of time. The same situation is at the polling stations #107 Uskhodni and #100 of Yaseninski constituencies.

Thus, the tendency is the opposite. When during the early vote members of election commission obviously understated the number of voters, now these figures are greatly exaggerated, Belorusskiy Partizan writes.

Besides, one of the observers of Yaseninski constituency has counted that the number of ballots does not correspond to the number of voters on the list who hadn’t voted. 200 ballots are missing. He told about his conclusions to the OSCE observer. And he answered that the same situation was observed the day before at almost all polling stations of this constituency.

Thus, additional grounds to say that ballots were thrown into the ballot boxes during the early vote have appeared. And for today the lists of voters are simply to be adjusted to the needed number of voters.
