Postmen made subscribe to “Sovetskaya Belorussia”

Officers of Brest Belpochta are made to subscribe to a press organ of the Lukashenka’s administration – “Sovetskaya Belorussia” newspaper.
One of the employees confirmed this information to Euroradio.
“Yes, we are subscribed to this newspaper. Other agencies do the same. This kind of subscription is called “controlled”. What does it mean? People must subscribe to these newspapers,” the postman says.
According to the administration of the Brest Belpochta department, salary of postmen without labour experience is from 250,000 Belarusian rubles per month, and salary of employees with 20 years of seniority is 500,000 rubles. The administration denied the information about compulsory subscription to “Sovetskaya Belorussia”.
“SB” circulation is 400,000 copies.
