Pyatkevich: “Ideology is our life”

The first deputy head of Lukashenka’s Administration called on all ideological workers to treat people like family members.

Natallya Pyatkevich told journalists at a seminar of ideological workers of the Mahilou region that integrity and openness should be the major principles of ideological work.

“It is crucial that we establish direct contacts with people. Integrity and openness should be the major principles of our work; we should be honest with people. We should only tell the truth as people always see falsehood. We should talk to people the way we talk to our family members or the way we want them to talk to us. This will make our efforts natural and efficient,” BelTA quotes Pyatkevich.

According to her, ideological work is something that should be improved all the time, because life changes, so do the forms and methods of ideological work. “Ideology is our life, a system of values, therefore ideologists should not create anything artificial, but try to find a way to people’s hearts,” Natallya Pyatkevich said.
