Belarusians ready to defend their choice (Photo)

Canvassing campaign for Belarusian presidential candidate Andrei Sannikov is being conducted in Minsk.

“The first days of agitation showed that Minsk residents know about the election, know about Andrei Sannikov, ask about the reforms he would carry out first of all. People expect falsifications and understand they will have to defend their choice. Most of those who came to volunteers said they would take to streets on December 19. People express their support, offer help. Many people told they printed information from the Internet and threw handouts in mail boxes and hand round their neighbours and colleagues. People were angry at the delay in printing our information materials due to the fault of the Central Election Commission. It can be noticed that people see our flags and understand they are able to overcome their fear and defend their right to decent life,” Adnrei Sannikov’s agent Yauhen Afnahel told about the canvassing campaign.

We remind that printing agitation materials for Andrei Sannikov was delayed due to the fault of the Central Election Commission. Sannikov’s financial representative managed to get his certificate only at 5 pm on Friday, when banks were already closed until Monday. Printing agitation materials is permitted only out of the candidate’s official fund.
