The decision on warning towards Vital Rymasheusky was taken unanimously, Mikalai Lazovik voted against the warning to Statkevich.

Candidates for presidency in Belarus Vital Rymasheusky and Mikalai Statkevich received official warnings from the CEC for the organization and participation in the rally on October Square in Minsk on November, 24. This decision of the CEC was adopted on November 30, BelaPAN reports.

As the CEC secretary Mikalai Lazovik stated he had attended the meeting on October Square on that evening and he “liked the event in general - nobody interfered with anybody, the weather is good.”

According to Mikalai Lazovik, the rally was attended by three presidential candidates - Vital Rymasheusky, Mikalai Statkevich and Uladzimir Nyaklyaeu.

“The participants were warned about the violating of law, but the organizers did not react in respond”, - the CEC secretary said.

In Lazovik’s viewpoint, Rymasheusky deserves a warning for organizing the campaign. He suggested not to punish Statkevich “to deprive him of the aureole of the victim of power”.

As far as Nyaklyaeu is concerned, according to the secretary, he was at the Square not as a candidate, “but as a citizen”. In addition, Lazovik reminded, Nyaklyaeu already has one warning (for the early spread of campaign products printed abroad - BelaPAN).
