“TV blockade” of Sannikov in Dzyarzhynsk

During the speech of candidates for presidency Andrei Sannikov and Ryhor Kastusyou in Dzyarzhynsk broadcasting of local cable network was switched off.

Right after the end of the candidates’ speeches broadcasting resumed in customary mode.

This was reported to “Narodnaya Volya” by the citizen of Dzyarzhynsk Mikalai Verbanovich.

“Yesterday at about 7 p.m., right before the beginning of the presidential candidates’ speeches, cable broadcasting was suddenly switched off. Subscribers of “Prizma” company – the one, providing cable broadcasting, are the majority of the citizens. I’ll note that electricity in houses was present, only TV channels were not broadcasted. To take in the situation, I started to call to “Dzyarzhynsk cable”, but the line was always busy there yesterday.

Needless to say that after 8 p.m., when candidates for presidency finished their speeches, broadcasting resumed in customary mode. I personally don’t believe in such coincidences. People are simply disallowed to know the truth…” Dzyarzhynsk citizen is sure.

To find out whether the yesterday “TV incident” was a coincidence, “Narodnaya Volya” called to “Prizma” company. Broadcasting absence was said to be due to an accident.

“Yesterday in Dzyarzhynsk a serious accident took place. Power supply lines were damaged. During the repair works TV cable was damaged, that’s why cable channels were not broadcasted for some time. Broadcasting resumed at about 7:40 p.m.”, was explained there.

There’s still an open question: why “with serious accident in power supply” there were no problems with electricity in houses of Dzyarzhynsk citizens, only TV channels broadcasting was absent.
