Activist of Nyaklyaeu campaign was beaten

Near the picket of the presidential candidate Uladzimir Nyaklyaeu a stranger attacked a volunteer.

December, 5 at about 11 p.m. two young men came to the picket at the Railway Station Square in Minsk. One of them looked quite adequate, the other seemed to be too drunk, the website of “Tell the Truth” campaign reports.

The guys started to ask the volunteer about the upcoming elections and about the candidate Nyaklyaeu, the volunteer replied, and as a result a rather normal conversation began, which, however, somehow unwittingly, but rather quickly turned into a kind of dispute. The guys obviously wanted to sting the volunteer. But as he did not “buy into” getting in an argument, one of the approached guys unexpectedly and rather hard hit him in the face. The blow was so strong that the young man had lost his memory for some time and still can’t explain clearly what actually happened. When he came to his senses, the volunteer went to the nearest police station and wrote a statement about strangers’ attack.
