The promoters of the public initiative “Women against the lawlessness in the courts and prosecutor's office” arranged a picket at Freedom Square in Minsk.
As “Radio Svaboda” reports, women were holding a poster running: “Administration of the president is reliable protection for lawlessness in the country.” The police was not dispersing the stake, but was simply recording on the video what was happening. Then women came to the Prosecutor General's Office, where they lodged a complaint against the Deputy Chairman of Minsk City Executive Committee Mikhail Tsitsyankou, who hadn’t allowed their picketing. There the women also endorsed the appeal to the delegates of “All-Belarusian meeting”, demanding to give the floor to them. The activists were planning to go to the Palace of the Republic, where the meeting was held today.
But of the Palace of the Republic women were kept out.
