Artsyom Dubski – year in prison (Photo)

On March 3 activists of the Young Front hanged out in Minsk streamers “Freedom to Artsyom Dubski!”

In this way, Radio Svaboda informs, activists marked the anniversary of political prisoner’s stay behind the bars, since charges were filed against him.

Artsyom Dubski was arrested on February 13, 2009 at Belarusian-Ukrainian border. Artsyom Dubski was sentenced to a year in minimum security penal colony for violation of the rules of serving punishment in the notorious Case of 14, when 14 youth activists were sentenced to restriction of liberty for their participation in protests rallies of entrepreneurs. He was to serve 2 years of imprisonment in Asipovichy, where he is registered. But a criminal case was opened against him, and Dubski left for Ukraine.

Asipovichy court sentenced Artsyom Dubski to imprisonment in Mahilyou correctional colony. In 2009, Amnesty International recognized the participants of the Process of 14 prisoners of conscience.
