Life:) mobile operator: “Advertizing on charter97.org is riskily”

One of the conditions to advertize Life:) mobile operator is “not to touch politics”.
The advice was given to participants of the conference “ByNet 2.4. New Web Format” by Life:) marketer Artsyom Herasimovich during his presentation “How to Sell Advertising on Your Website to a Mobile Phone Operator”. The conference was held in Minsk on June 1–2, the website of the Belarusian Association of Journalists (BAJ) reports.
“I understand that the expression “not to touch politics” is rather obscure,” Herasimovich explained. “But the way TUT.by and Interfax touch politics differs from the way charter97.org does it. Advertizing on charter97.org is riskily. As a marketer, I won’t place advertizing on a website covering activity of the Belarusian National Front, because I don’t want to run risk.”
According to Artsyom Herasimovich, other big advertisers, including mobile operators, banks and car producers, have similar approaches.
“This is a general recommendation for those who want to create a website for selling ads to a big advertiser,” he concluded.
