Minsk city executive committee liquidates "Forward movement"

On June 3 a research and educational institution "Forward movement" recieved a notification that the authorities are set to declare invalid its registration certificate.

Uladzimir Nyaklyaeu is left without a legal umbrella of his political and public activities.

"Forward movement" was registered on February 2 this year. Its director Uladzimir Nyaklyaeu, his deputy Nina Pakhlopka, "Belarusian partisan" informs.

Among interior programs of the institution is the campaign "Tell the truth", which is much talked-of currently.

As it turned out, on May 26 the Main Justice directorate, the department of liquidation of economic entities of Minsk city executive committee, filed a suit to the Economic Court of the capital to declare state registration of the institution invalid.

The reference to the presidential decree of January 16, 2009 "On state registration and liquidation of economic entities" was made.

As for the concrete complaints to "Forward movement" they are limited to one thing: the legal address was stated falsely.

The address in the docuemnts is: Minsk, Masherau Avenue 54, which is the premises where the office was situated all the time until it was sealed after the search on May 18.

The preparatory session of the Economic Court of Minsk is scheduled for June 10.

The problem for the leaders and lawyers of "Forward movement" today is that they cannot collect necessary documents which are kept in the sealed headquarters.
