It was announced by Vasily Pavlovsky, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus.
“We are ready to renounce import”, he said answering to journalists’ question, Interfax reports.
Deputy Minister remarked that purchases of import farming machines were insignificant within last years and were fulfilled from internal funds of agricultural organizations. At the same time, deliveries of domestic highly efficient machinery increase. Thus, in the current year agricultural organizations received 1700 domestic combines against 1,3-1,5 thousand in previous years. A number of models are close to machines of world producers according to their technical characteristics, considers the official.
It must be recalled, that lately, Aliaksandr Lukashenko during his trip to Brest region demanded stopping the purchase of import machines analogues of which are produced in Belarus.
“We have to stop purchasing import machines”, he said. According to the words of Belarusian leader, import machines work good but in several years they start “breaking down”, and spare parts are very expensive.
