Belarusian dictator is for extension of connections with Palestine

Alyaksandr Lukashenka considers the extension of connections with Palestine possible in the nearest perspective, including trade and economic sphere.

“I am sure that the time when our relations will be on a higher level is not far away”, - Belarusian governor marked, meeting on Thursday with the ambassador of Palestine to Minsk Muntaser Abu Zeid on occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission in Belarus, “Interfax-West” reports.

Addressing to the ambassador, Lukashenka underlined, that for the time of his work in Belarus he established “a good base for deepening of our trade and economic relations. You may be sure, that Belarus will always adhere to the line that it has been adhered recently”.

According to his words, the Palestinian ambassador “made a lot, especially within the last three years, being a doyen of the diplomatic body”. “I am thankful to you for this position”, - Lukashenka remarked. “I know that you remain working at the diplomatic body of Palestine and I hope, that you will remember that you left a part of your soul in Belarus”, - he said.

In his turn the Palestinian diplomat expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Lukashenka on behalf of authorities of Palestine “for your support, for your position concerning Palestinian issue”. “I have worked 22 years abroad, Belarus will leave the best reminiscence in me”, - Abu Zeid noted.
